Karah met her husband Daniel while she was training for the Air Force. He was active duty. Now he is separated from active duty and Karah is still in the Air National Guard. Most of their military friends made fun of their relationship due to the fact that most relationships being formed while at Technical School/job training after Basic Military Training do not last and are typically called a “Tech School Romance.” Obviously they were the real deal. They were in a long distance relationship for 3 years while Daniel was stationed in WA. Daniel ended up leaving the Air Force to be with Karah, because she refused to leave her family.
Daniel and Karah then moved in together in Ohio and lived together for 2 years before becoming engaged, and after a year of engagement they finally tied the knot! All but a few members of Daniel’s family still live in Brazil, so Karah’s family quickly became his. He inherited her brothers, parents, grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins from Karah’s side. He got to experience first hand why family is so important to Karah, and God. Daniel had been an atheist and religion/spirituality was often a sore topic for them. It would lead to arguments. Thankfully, Karah’s parents instilled a strong sense of faith into her and her brothers, strong enough to stand the test.
Once Isaiah came into their lives, Karah and Daniel’s first baby, they had already celebrated 3 years of marriage! Daniel and Karah experienced the wonder of God’s beauty first hand. There was no denying Him. Daniel, Isaiah, and Karah were baptized together on Mother’s Day of 2017 in New Vienna, OH. Daniel is now a true believer and follower. Praise God!
